At Medphoton, every ImagingRing is crafted with precision and care in our Salzburg, Austria, facility. From cabling to complex ring assembly, we oversee every step of production in-house, ensuring the highest quality standards. Our expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering comes together under one roof, delivering advanced solutions tailored to clinical needs. Beyond production, our dedicated service team provides seamless global support, offering both online and onsite assistance to keep hospitals and distributors operating smoothly.

Our story so far

  • Foundation of Medphoton

    Medphoton was established as an offshoot of the Paracelsus Medical University and Salzburg State Hospital (SALK) in Salzburg, Austria. 

  • First ImagingRing launched

    First ImagingRing system released for clinical use, introducing innovative solutions for image-guided radiotherapy. 

  • Partnering for global reach

    Partnered with Brainlab in the field of image guided surgery and Elekta (2021) to enhance imaging solutions in radiation therapy, further expanding the reach of our technology. 

  • Brainlab collaboration delivers Loop-X

    Launched the Loop-X® mobile imaging robot in collaboration with Brainlab, setting new standards in intraoperative imaging with automated imaging steps and robotic assistance.  

  • 100 installations worldwide 

    Achieved the milestone of 100 global installations, reflecting the growing adoption of our imaging solutions worldwide. 

  • 200 installations and counting 

    Expanded to over 200 installations worldwide, demonstrating sustained growth and impact in the field of medical imaging.
