Job Description
Our R&D Imaging Endoscopy team is looking for a new Project Engineer! Endoscopy was established at Brainlab to advance innovation in medical technology. The team develops software and hardware solutions, intended to be integrated with existing medical devices across Brainlab’s portfolio.
As a member of our team you will:
- execute product development processes within hardware and software solutions
- collaborate and communicate with different target audiences, including driving cooperation with international external partners at system, component and service level
- prepare technical documentation, such as risk management and requirement engineering documents
- plan and execute verification and validation activities based on a structured working style with high standards for documentation quality.
You will be part of a highly motivated, dynamic team and have the opportunity to push the boundaries of endoscopy into surgical navigation.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline, ideally with a focus on optics development.
- Experience with technical documentation for medical devices in accordance with relevant standards and regulations (such as FDA 21 CFR Part 820 , ISO 14971, ISO 13485, IEC60601, ISO 8600, IEC 62366).
- Experience in working in accordance with design control processes.
- Well-organized and proactive working style.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
