Job Description

In June, Brainlab announced the spin-off of its former subsidiary, Snke. Headquartered in Munich, Snke is transforming health tech with scalable, data-driven innovation powered by AI and big data analytics. By delivering a trusted orchestration layer, Snke empowers healthcare providers, societies, registries, agencies and all partners to deploy cutting-edge solutions for safe and efficient interventions and enhances patient outcomes. Beyond the Munich headquarters, Snke has core teams in Chicago, Heidelberg, San Diego and Tel Aviv. Snke fosters global collaboration to create technologies that are smart, enabling and holistic—helping healthcare providers deliver meaningful change.

While Brainlab and Snke will operate independently, they will continue to collaborate closely. You will initially join the SAP team at Brainlab to support Snke during the transition, after which you will fully transition to Snke to continue your career.

What makes this role truly exciting: We are currently setting up a brand-new SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP system from scratch with a Greenfield approach. You will play a key role in shaping this modern, cloud-based environment from day one. The focus of Snke’s ERP is primarily on Finance, Controlling, and Sales, giving you the opportunity to design processes, drive automation, and influence the future of our international operations.

In this role, your tasks will be to...

  • Take ownership of the setup and continuous improvement of our SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP
  • Act as the primary contact and subject matter expert for Finance, Controlling, and Sales processes within an integrated Order-to-Cash environment
  • Drive the design and optimization of processes and ensure alignment with business needs
  • Advise business stakeholders on utilizing standard SAP Finance processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling)
  • Configure and implement change requests, ensuring best practices and system integrity
  • Manage and participate in rollout and implementation projects – from requirements gathering to configuration and go-live
  • Collaborate across teams and with external consultancies to deliver innovative, automated solutions
  • Conduct end-user training and provide ongoing support for Finance and adjacent areas

Qualifications

We are open to two types of backgrounds:

  • SAP-driven: You come from the SAP consulting side, ideally with experience in FI/CO and a desire to work in an in-house role with real impact.
  • Finance-driven: You have a strong Finance/Controlling background, are tech-savvy, and have some SAP experience – ready to take on a new challenge in the ERP environment.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP, ideally with SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • Basic knowledge of other modules such as Sales is a plus
  • Familiarity with SAP best practices and standard processes is a plus
  • Passion for process optimization and automation
  • Comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams
  • Independent and structured working style with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ideally also in German
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
